Sh*t! I make the commitment to live without a car (again), sell the damn thing, and only then find out that it's already too late.
And I can just see it now. Thousands of SUV driving soccer moms in Kansas City thinking, "Well if global warming really is unstoppable, then I may as well keep on sucking down gasoline the way I suck down triple, decaf, no-foam, lattes." (Which BTW cost about the same these days.)
