The force has left the building.
As I was walking out of the theatre, I was mentally measuring Revenge against the other prequels, and I realized that it is easily the worst of the three, making it the worst Star Wars film, period! I mean...sure...Phantom Menace had its irritations. (Though, I have to say that I don't dislike Jar Jar Binks as much as, well...everybody.) But at least Lucas managed to tell a story, and he still threw in a little humor to boot. In Attack of the Clones and this debacle, it is almost as if Lucas' goal was to get from point A to point B--nothing beyond that.
Incomprehensible motivations, typical (i.e., crappy) dialogue, choppy editing, manic action scenes that look like they belong in a cheezy Kung-fu flick, and wooden performances. All in all: A train wreck of a movie that's a waste of money and time.
What a shame.
